Empathy Wildfire Response

With the Los Angeles fires came the halfway point in our educational programs that are running in classrooms across the country. And we know our program is working because of the response we’ve seen from kids outside of California.

Classes wrote letters, made friendship bracelets, and packed goody bags that went into the “go bags” that our students in Jordan Downs have packed. Actions like this between children are the basis on which Children Mending Hearts started! Through art and education, we continue to show that empathy and support can bring light even in the darkest moments.
